Clearfield (NASDAQ:CLFD) is extending the reach of its FieldShield optical fiber to the hardened connector marketplace with two new solutions, FieldShield Hardened Connectors and the FieldShield Multiport SmarTerminal. They're intended for telco, MSO and wireless markets for last mile, small count fiber deployments. The form and fit of the SC connector is maintained, and slack storage is integrated within the device. A dual LC connector version is also available.
