Cisco Shows Modular RDK Solution

At IBC2013, Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) is showcasing its Videoscape software solution on RDK, including implementation of 4K Ultra HD content on the RDK. The solution is intended to provide an end-to-end approach that realizes the capabilities of the RDK in a modular way.Cisco's Videoscape software solution for the RDK is designed to enable operators to accelerate the creation of advanced client platforms with a range of client technologies, including an HTML5-based user experience, cloud DVR capability, content protection, residential gateway software, TR-069 client and connected home management, and open API integration.
