At IBC2013, Alticast will present technology intended to simplify the TV experience for viewers and streamline the implementation process for operators. The company will showcase IP migration paths, HTML5 user interface and user experience (UI/UX) designs, cloud PVR, companion applications and set-top boxes based on the Comcast RDK.Alticast will demonstrate its DVB-RDK set-top box solution for operators, featuring Broadcom's BCM7428 solution for HD IP set-top box clients with integrated MoCA 2.0 and Alticast's Windmill UI. The box also includes Alticast components such as support for DVB standards as well as media control, application lifecycle management and device administration.
