Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) Fiber has released pricing numbers for its FTTH service in Provo, UT. The search giant plans to have its first customers hooked up before the end of the year.Planned service tiers include Free Internet (5 Mbps downstream and 1 Mbps upstream), Gigabit Internet (1 Gbps up and down) for $70/month, and Gigabit Internet + TV for $120/month. All three plans require a $30 construction fee.There will be no immediate changes for current Veracity (the incumbent provider that Google bought) customers in single-family homes. Later this year, they'll have the option of becoming Google Fiber customers.
