Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) Chief Network Officer and Executive Vice President John Schanz will be joined by four heavy hitters in cable's technology and operations community for a discussion of network operations as part of the opening session of the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2013 in October.Schanz will moderate a discussion of technology and operations issues with a panel comprising Yvette Kanouff, executive vice president, corporate engineering and technology, Cablevision; Guy McCormick, vice president, engineering, Cox Communications; Matthew Stanek, senior vice president of core, regional, metro and network operations, Time Warner Cable; and Marwan Fawaz, partner with Sarepta Advisors.
