Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) announced the launch of its X1 Platform from Xfinity across Connecticut, Western Massachusetts and Vermont, making the technology available throughout all of New England. X1 is currently available in more than a dozen markets, and Comcast plans to launch the service in all remaining markets by the end of the year.In other Comcast news, the MSO announced the Michigan launch of Xfinity Home Control, a new product under the Xfinity Home umbrella of services. Incorporating energy management features, Xfinity Home Control is for customers who want smart home solutions but not security monitoring.
