The SCTE announced a new series of technology webinars intended to prepare the cable workforce to meet growing demand for WiFi services.The WiFi Technology Webinar Series, sponsored by Cisco Systems, will debut June 20 from 2-3 p.m. Eastern time with a detailed look at basic principles of WiFi RF technology. Five additional future webinars will address:


  • Five Fundamentals of Integrating Licensed and Unlicensed Small Cells


  • RF Planning and Deployment Challenges and Considerations


  • Lessons Learned from Cable Deployments


  • WiFi as a Managed Service


  • High Density Deployments: Stadiums and Arenas
