Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) is increasing the speed of its "Performance" Xfinity Internet package in Florida from 15 Mbps downstream and 2 Mbps upstream to 25 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up. The upgrade is free of charge and just requires rebooting the modem.Last month, the MSO announced speed upgrades to its Extreme 50 and Blast! Internet packages in Florida, as well as in Washington, Oregon, Colorado and California. Those upgrades were part of an ongoing DOCSIS 3.0 upgrade plan, a Comcast spokesman said.
