Artel Video Systems announced its new HD-SDI Video-over-IP Gateway, the DLC450. Designed as a cost-effective solution for transport of uncompressed HD-SDI over managed Ethernet IP networks, the DLC450 utilizes SMPTE 2022-5/6 IP Encapsulation and FEC algorithms. Artel will demonstrate it for the first time at the 2013 NAB Show.The DLC450 HD-SDI Video over IP Gateway is one of several new modules compatible with any of the DigiLink chassis. Artel's newest chassis, the DL4360x, holds up to 12 function modules. The DLC450 is customer configurable via DigiLink Manager or via SNMPv2 as either a transmitter or receiver.
