Broadpeak's BkS400 video cache servers have been upgraded to a capacity of up to 30 Gbps for HTTP adaptive streaming. The BkS400 servers feature an open, Web-based architecture designed to support HTTP formats including Apple HLS, Microsoft Smooth Streaming, Adobe HDS, and MPEG-DASH. When integrated with Broadpeak's BkM100 CDN Mediator, it's intended to improve management of failover and load-balancing tasks, as well as reduce cache miss ratio.
