Harmonic Preps for VidTrans

At VidTrans 2013 in Los Angeles in March, Harmonic (NASDAQ:HLIT) will showcase its ProMedia software suite designed to optimize multiscreen production and processing workflows; Spectrum MediaDeck 7000 integrated media server; Electra 8000 encoder; and ProView 7100 IRD transcoder and stream processor.The ProMedia family of software applications is intended to optimize multiscreen production and delivery workflows and is designed for transcoding live and file-based content to all mobile and IP-connected devices. The suite includes ProMedia Xpress, ProMedia Capture, ProMedia Live, ProMedia Carbon, ProMedia Package, and ProMedia Origin.
