Envivio to Showcase MPEG-2 Processing, Multiscreen
At Expo, Envivio (NASDAQ:ENVI) will showcase its software-based solutions for traditional TV and TV Everywhere, as well as new capabilities to bring time-shifted TV to mobile devices.For bandwidth reclamation, the company's Muse MPEG-2 software compression is designed to enable up to five HD or 23 SD channels per QAM, and capped variable bitrate feeds for on-demand applications such as VOD, SDV, network DVR or Start Over. Envivio will also feature HEVC (H.265) video compression technology.
