SCTE Approves 2 Test Standards

The SCTE has approved two test standards.SCTE 78 2012, "Test Method for Transfer Impedance," is for the measurement of transfer impedance of coaxial drop cables from 5 MHz to 1,002 MHz.SCTE 185 2012, "Test Method for Cantilever Force, Female 'F' Port," is used to evaluate the mechanical strength of female "F" ports when a cantilever force is applied.
