Hitron Launches EuroDOCSIS Modems, WiFi

At ANGA, Hitron is launching its new flagship products, the CDA-32372 and CDE-32372 cable modems, both based on the Puma-6mg chip. The CDA-32372 is a bridging cable modem, the CDE-32372 is a data gateway with concurrent dual-band 3x3 WiFi.The Puma-6mg supports 24x8 channel bonding for EuroDOCSIS 3.0 speeds up to over 1 Gbps, with an upstream of 320 Mbps.The company is also demonstrating with Anyfi Networks Anyfi's WiFi technology integrated in a DOCSIS 3.0 EMTA. The two companies have integrated Anyfi's software in Hitron's DOCSIS 3.0 Wireless Gateway to implement spectrum aware traffic prioritization.
