The SCTE and VECTOR, a European supplier of optical solutions for various network architectures and producer and supplier of digital TV equipment, announced that the SCTE will serve as a general partner at the 11th Broadband Technology Conference May 31-June 1 in Sopot, Poland.During the two-day event, SCTE representatives will offer technical expertise on topics including the continued value of HFC networks within cable's infrastructure, business models for IP transport and a look at next-generation networks. The conference also will serve as the venue for the first general European meeting of the SCTE Central Europe Chapter, which was formed in 2011.
