Huawei and Corning jointly demonstrated 3,000 km Ultra Long-Haul (ULH) transmission of 100G coherent WDM technology at Cable-Tec Expo last week. Huawei demonstrated 100 Gbps single wavelength coherent technology over Corning SMF-28 ULL optical fiber. Huawei also demonstrated co-transmission with its 40 Gbps coherent solutions at 50 GHz channel spacing.
