IP technologies will be a key focus area at the 2010 SCTE (www.scte.org) Cable-Tec Expo in New Orleans, the Society announced today. Presentations on the technical and business implications of holistic content delivery networks, DOCSIS 3.0, home networking and IP video will be offered during the three-day event. The workshops include:• "Holistic CDNs: Expanding the Library and Devices Served"• "IP Video Migration and Architecture"• "Taking DOCSIS 3.0 Back to the Future: Optimizing Whole-Home Networking and Migrating to Higher-Speed Upstream"• "Understanding, Installing and Troubleshooting In-Home MoCA, WiFi, and IP Networks"Additional Expo workshops will address 3D video; upstream channel bonding; service quality measurement, monitoring and management; adaptive streaming; extension of Ethernet services; energy management; and BSS/OSS for business services.
