Chris Bastian, Senior Vice President and CTO, SCTE
Chris Bastian, a 30-year industry veteran, is the SCTE’s new Senior Vice President and CTO. Over the past three decades, Bastian has been at the forefront of Wi-Fi, advanced broadband and telecommunications security developments with Comcast, RCN and the National Security Agency. He joins SCTE following more than 10 years at Comcast, where he most recently had been executive director focusing on Comcast's Xfinity WiFi network.
Jorge Salinger, Vice President of Access Architecture, Comcast
Jorge Salinger is Comcast's Vice President of Access Architecture. Among other accomplishments, he played a key role in the development and adoption of the Converged Cable Access Platform (CCAP), which incorporates both video and data infrastructure in one platform. Recently, he has headed the MSO's experiments with DOCSIS 3.1 in live field trials in the homes of Comcast employees and other "friendlies."
Stephen Hardy, Editorial Director, BTR
