The 802 AWE is an all-in-one handheld test set with built-in testing of WiFi (a/b/g/n/ac), ZigBee, Bluetooth and Ethernet networks. It is designed to identify and resolve many problems encountered during wireless network deployment, including interference between WiFi and ZigBee home security and automation networks.
Specifically, the 802 AWE includes site survey, channel usage, band utilization, connectivity, traceroute and throughput tests. Technicians can use it to identify coverage problems, connectivity issues, security risks and unauthorized devices in a wireless system.

The 802 AWE has a color screen and icon-based navigation with an interface that looks and feels like smart devices. The low price allows companies to outfit more technicians with their own gear and reduces the amount of time spent meeting up to swap out gear during the normal workday, Trilithic says.
