NeuLion (TSX:NLN) announced support to secure end-to-end 4K streaming using HEVC and MPEG-DASH. The addition of HEVC and MPEG DASH support is intended to enable pay TV operators and OTT services to securely stream live video content to multiple screens, and also to create synergies among the consumer electronics industry, OTT and TV Everywhere service providers.

Additionally, the NeuLion Digital Platform and MainConcept solutions are intended to ensure that consumer devices are UltraHD-ready by leveraging DivX CE playout and security embedded technology. More than a billion shipped consumer devices have DivX DRM embedded at the chip level.

At the NAB Show in Las Vegas, the company plans to showcase its video technology with UltraHD support, 4K streaming, H.264, HEVC, HLS, MPEG-DASH, security and DRM, live and on-demand delivery, Web, iOS, and Android support, plus integration with consumer electronics suppliers.
