At TV Connect in London, RealNetworks is introducing its RealHome Media Portal, a multiscreen streaming media solution. It's designed to let pay TV operators deliver OTT video content to any connected device, without impacting existing systems.

RealHome Media Portal provides home users with a unified hub to categorize, search, and access personal media content, operator-provided premium content, and OTT content. The user interface automatically updates streaming on all devices and supports media sharing.

The system features CAS and DRM solutions from Verimatrix and supports development of HTML5-based web clients, as well as a self-adaptive ability to identify a device, its capabilities, and supported protocols.
