The 4.5 Diamond Envivo Halo Experience Server is aptly named, one Diamonds judge said, as it creates the means to enhance content viewing and access for customers. It adds capabilities for personalization to the Halo media processor and facilitates advanced applications, including time-shifted TV and network DVR, targeted advertisement insertion and social and personalized TV. With the Halo Experience Server, MSOs can give viewers the ability to pause and rewind live streams, record programs and watch on other devices, receive personalized ads, record and share clips, and create a la carte TV channels. These are enhancements that will allow operators to monetize their TV anywhere services and that make the Experience Server a "game changer," the Diamonds judges said.
