The Seeker D Lite Shielding Integrity Testing Kit gives technicians the ability to verify whether cellular devices have the potential to cause harmful interference with advanced in-home services such as high-speed Internet, TV and phone. It is designed for use in both the Aeronautic and LTE bands and offers sensitivity as low as 0.1 uV/m. The small size and built-in antenna allow technicians to move through confined spaces in the home. The three-button design, dual band display, and tone proportional to signal strength reduce the time it takes for technicians to become familiar with the device, Trilithic says.
In order to provide consistency with leakage levels typically found in the subscriber premises, the levels displayed by the Seeker D Lite are normalized to represent the value of a leak at typical system levels. The correlation between measured and displayed levels help the technician evaluate the severity of a leak based upon industry practices, the company says.
