Pavlov Media acquires 45-mile fiber ring in Tallahassee, Florida
Pavlov Media announced on March 19 that it has acquired a 45-mile fiber ring in Tallahassee, Florida—the result of a deal with communications cabling company Dial Communications. The acquisition extends the company’s existing operations in the area and, according to CEO Cory Douglas, is part of the company’s plan to invest in the market they already serve.
“This acquisition will enable us to more rapidly connect our customers’ demand for fiber-based services in the greater Tallahassee market,” said Douglas in a press release.
Dial Communications president Nelson Sweeney said in the press release, “Dial Communications is pleased that the 45-mile fiber network built over the past 20 years and our valued customers will now be part of a quality organization like Pavlov Media and the benefits that the acquisition will provide to consumers in the Tallahassee Market.”
Pavlov Media also recently acquired Inspire WiFi in Orlando, Florida, and plans to launch an FttH network in Gainesville, Florida, later this year.
