All West Communications on May 30 announced plans to expand its multi-gigabit fiber-optic broadband network, streaming TV service, and digital phone platforms to the residents of South Ogden, Utah.
All West has been welcomed by city leaders to bring fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) access to South Ogden.
“The goal is for our services to help improve both everyday lives and community economic development with access to our advanced fiber-optic technology,” stated Matt Weller, president of All West Communications.
The fiber broadband network expansion will provide services to homes and businesses in the city. Construction will begin with a public groundbreaking event on Tuesday, June 6 at 11 a.m. at South Ogden City Hall located at 3950 Adams Ave.
South Ogden Mayor Russell Porter noted, “All West's commitment to build a network capable of serving every home in South Ogden is wonderful news. The company is funding the project themselves and does not require the city to post any bond or financial guarantee to finance the project.”
All West said its fiber internet offerings will include symmetrical speed tiers up to 8 Gig for residential and 10 Gig for businesses.
The service offering also includes managed Wi-Fi, giving customers complete control of their home networks; All West.tv, a digital TV streaming service with over 115+ channels to choose from; and VoIP phone platforms, with both local and long-distance options.
