Cablevision (NYSE:CVC) has appointed Robert Comstock as executive vice president, operations, effective immediately. In the newly created role, Comstock will be responsible for all aspects of infrastructure that support the delivery of Cablevision's customer experience, including network management, field operations, outside plant, WiFi execution, and telecommunications network management. He will also oversee the customer service and field organizations.

Prior to joining Cablevision, Comstock spent nearly a decade at Direct Energy, an energy and energy-related services provider. Before Direct Energy, he worked for The New Power Co., SUNOCO, and Hess.
