Cisco, NDS Highlight Multiscreen

At IBC this week, Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) and its newly acquired NDS unit are showcasing multiscreen video capabilities in both network and cloud environments, both live and on-demand.Cisco will highlight next-generation Videoscape capabilities, including solutions for time-shifted TV, the Videoscape Distribution Suite, an enhanced content delivery systems portfolio with the CDN features such as CDN Federation, new Videoscape-capable set-top boxes and modular converged cable access platform (CCAP) technology.NDS will demonstrate solutions to enhance Videoscape. NDS will highlight solutions to unify, extend and enhance pay TV services over managed and unmanaged networks. In addition, NDS will showcase user interfaces, including European customer deployments.
