A lot of issues with fiber-optic systems are related to dirty or damaged connectors, AFL says. FOCIS Flex enables users to quickly inspect fiber-optic connectors during installation, troubleshooting and maintenance. Verifying they are clean and at optimal performance levels maximizes network performance.
FOCIS Flex offers one-button testing. It auto focuses, captures and centers the end-face image, applies pass/fail rules, displays the image and pass/fail results, and wirelessly transfers the image and results to a paired FLX 380 or OFL280 FlexTester. FOCIS Flex can store thousands of results, and a micro-USB port supports fast upload of results to a PC.
