Atlantic Broadband has partnered with TiVo (NASDAQ:TIVO) to deliver the Amazon Prime Video app to select TiVo devices.
Atlantic Broadband customers with an Amazon Prime membership can now stream Prime Video content via the Prime Video app on select TiVo devices. TiVo also provides an integrated search and user experience by including Prime Video content in search and recommendation results.
Prime Video features movies, TV shows, and Amazon Originals.
"The availability of the Prime Video app on select TiVo devices continues our multi-phased effort to enhance functionality and to bring an exceptional, best-in-class video experience to our customers," said Heather McCallion, vice president of product and programming for Atlantic Broadband. "This latest, easy-to-use offering from Atlantic Broadband greatly expands viewing options for our customers and increases their ability to watch great content from the Prime Video app."
Atlantic Broadband, which serves more than a half-million customers in 11 states, launched TiVo's gateway platform in 2013. A year later, it integrated Netflix into its video platform. Other upgrades launched in the last year include a new user interface featuring intuitive navigation and personalized recommendations, plus a new voice-control remote.
