Zoom Telephonics shipping Model MR1700 Motorola AC1700 WiFi gigabit router

Zoom Telephonics, Inc. (OTCQB:ZMTP) has announced shipments of the Model MR1700, its version of the Motorola AC1700 Dual-Band WiFi Gigabit Router with Extended Range. Zoom possesses a worldwide Motorola license agreement for cable modems and gateways, DSL modems and gateways, cellular modems and routers and sensors, and other Internet and network products.

Zoom Telephonics, Inc. (OTCQB:ZMTP) has announced shipments of the Model MR1700, its version of the Motorola AC1700 Dual-Band WiFi Gigabit Router with Extended Range. Zoom possesses a worldwide Motorola license agreement for cable modems and gateways, DSL modems and gateways, cellular modems and routers and sensors, and other Internet and network products (see "Zoom Resurrecting Moto CPE Brand").

The MR1700 Router is designed to transmit high-speed WiFi over a wide area within a premises, including distant rooms in large homes. Zoom also expects the MR1700 to perform well in apartments and condominiums, even in the face of potential interference from neighboring units.
