Evolution Digital has announced the availability of eSTREAM 4K, powered by Android TV, an all-IP streaming video box designed to deliver traditional and 4K/UltraHD cable services coupled with streaming apps from the Google Play Store.

The managed all-IP streaming box combines linear cable channels, VOD services and streaming apps, as well as whole-home video distribution through an integrated 802.11b/g/n/ac WiFi client with 4x4 antenna configuration. It also features a voice remote.

Other features include:

  • Certified with Android TV Operating Software Oreo 8.0
  • Remote control with voice command and search
  • Illuminated standby indicator and Wi-Fi signal meter
  • Operator-branded leased-box business model
  • Bluetooth pairing capabilities (BLE 4.0)

eSTREAM 4K uses HEVC/H.265 and VP9, and is also Energy Star-rated with standby mode technology.
