At IBC2017 in Amsterdam in September, ABOX42 will demonstrate its latest IPTV, OTT and smart home services products, including the dotCOM set-top box family and dotIO smart home solution.

The M35 Series smart set-top box is designed to support HD video, content security, and to offer an upgrade path to 4K/UltraHD without requiring any changes to the software or service.

ABOX42 will also demonstrate MPEG-DASH playout at IBC, with support for live TV, local recording, restart TV, cloud recording and time-shift TV. The company's MPEG DASH-based TV solution includes multi-audio, teletext, subtitle, and HbbTV support.

ABOX42's dotIO smart home solution is intended to provide all the hardware, cloud and mobile components needed. It does not require integration on the operator side; everything is managed and controlled by ABOX42. The platform includes sensors, a secure gateway, software, big data, cloud and mobile applications for iOS and Android devices, as well as ready-made business models. Prepared starter kits and low-cost sensors will also be on display. The company will also introduce a camera for its dotIO Smart Home Solution sensor family. The camera features a built-in privacy module and 270-degree motion.
