Taiwanese cable operator Taiwan Broadband Communications (TBC) has rolled out a digitized platform powered by NAGRA's (SIX:KUD.S) OpenTV 5. NAGRA is providing the operator with both OpenTV 5 set-top box software and system integration services. As part of the effort, TBC shipped close to 1 million set-top boxes powered by the OpenTV 5 operating system, marking the largest deployment of OpenTV 5 in Asia.

OpenTV 5 is part of NAGRA's MediaLive Suite. TBC selected the OpenTV 5 operating system in 2015.
