Telia has selected the VIP4302 set-top from ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) to deliver IPTV services to its TV and streaming customers in Sweden and Finland.

The new service, launched last week, offers IPTV content integrated with Netflix and YouTube. The ARRIS VIP4302 also supports High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), enabling Telia to offer more HD services over its current network.

"ARRIS has been our strategic partner for the past decade, as Telia Company has evolved and grown our IPTV services," said Christofer Peilitz, global product manager at Telia. "ARRIS's global scale and expertise have enabled us to bring the latest entertainment experiences to Telia Company's customers, and our deployment of its new VIP4302 set-top marks the start of an exciting new era of IPTV services for our subscribers."
