Altice (Euronext:ATC)-owned Portugal Telecom has selected the ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) VIP5662EW UltraHD set-top for its recently launched MEO 4K service.
The ARRIS VIP5662EW is a wireless HEVC IP set-top designed to support UltraHD video, WiFi, and time-shift and DVR capabilities. The new set-top allows MEO to subscribers access MEO's 4K content, through on-demand content and a 4K TV app.
