HUMAX' Gateway model HG3310 has received DOCSIS 3.1 certification by CableLabs in Certification Wave 116. HUMAX' portfolio of DOCSIS CPE products includes EMTAs, gateways and cable modems.

The HG3310 is a dual band concurrent 802.11ac WiFi voice DOCSIS 3.1 gateway with optional MoCA 2.0.

Frank Romeo, SVP of business development in HUMAX Americas, said: "With its improved spectral efficiency, DOCSIS 3.1 technology is helping MSOs meet the growing speeds demanded by end users including 1 Gbps and beyond. We're delighted to have obtained DOCSIS 3.1 certification for the HG3310 and are offering it for sale worldwide."

HUMAX took part in CableLabs' DOCSIS 3.1 interop in September last year at the R&D consortium's headquarters in Louisville, CO.
