Rovi (NASDAQ:ROVI) has unveiled its i-Guide HD R32, a high-definition guide with a new user interface. Additionally, the company announced that cable operator Click! Network is the first customer to deploy i-Guide. The new guide is designed to improve video entertainment discovery without the need to upgrade or switch out existing hardware.
i-Guide HD R32 is currently available for subscribers with ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) set-top boxes in North America. A version for Pace set-top boxes is expected to be available later this year.

"Rovi's i-Guide enables us to offer an enriched entertainment experience that captures the attention of our viewers, while still maintaining the offerings and services we've always delivered."
In addition to the HD interface, other features include HD Auto-Tune, which tunes to the appropriate HD channel from the SD channel to allow subscribers to view their favorite shows at the highest resolution, and an upgraded TV listings grid to enable subscribers to view more TV listings and channels at a glance.
