ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) has notched two customer wins in Norway and Oman, for WiFi extenders and set-top boxes, respectively.

Norwegian service provider Get has selected ARRIS' VAP4300 wireless extender to optimize home WiFi experiences. The plug-mounted VAP4300 is designed to amplify the wireless signal to improve coverage. It can also be set up as a new access point for improved stability and higher speeds.

In the sultanate of Oman, Omantel has selected ARRIS' VIP2262v2 DVR set-tops from to deliver DVR capabilities and on-demand HD content for its new Omantel TV+ service. Omantel subscribers will use the ARRIS set-tops to access more than 450 TV channels over their broadband connection, with the ability to record, pause and rewind.
