Kiwi Op Taps Alarm.com for Smart Home

Alarm.com (NASDAQ:ALRM) has partnered with New Zealand telecommunications provider Spark to introduce a new smart home security solution. Spark now offers a self-installed kit of wireless security hardware powered by Alarm.com's smart home security services. The solution is branded as Morepork, named after an owl native to New Zealand.

Designed in collaboration with Alarm.com, the system includes a security panel, door and window sensors, Alarm.com's mobile app, and Alarm.com's Image Sensor and HD video cameras to detect people in the home. With the self-installed solution, customers receive pre-configured hardware, online support and the option of professional monitoring.
