Summit Broadband is the first customer for Rovi's (NASDAQ:ROVI) Passport Guide HD. Rovi has also introduced i-Guide HD, the company's newest addition to its line of interactive video program guides.

Summit Broadband provides phone, Internet, and cable TV services for residential and commercial customers in Florida. The addition of Passport Guide HD is intended to provide Summit with expanded TV listings and a new design for DVR, search and advanced VOD capabilities.

The i-Guide HD solution is designed to provide a high-resolution, wide-screen design for HD. It supports applications to help service providers extend customer engagement, while offering the same navigation consumers are familiar with. It also features new HD Auto-Tune to ensure that content appears in the highest possible resolution.
