Time Warner Cable's (NYSE:TWC) Enhanced DVR service is now available in San Diego and across the Carolinas, along with New York City and Los Angeles. In April, the MSO plans to bring the service to the vast majority of areas it serves in Texas, including Austin, Dallas and San Antonio, along with Kansas City, New England and upstate New York.

The Enhanced DVR set-top boxes feature six tuners and a 1 TB hard drive, and are also designed to support whole-home DVR service.
