Hitron Technologies (TAIEX:2419) has selected MaxLinear's (NYSE:MXL) MxL268 Full-Spectrum Capture (FSC) 32-channel digital cable front-end receiver and MxL231 programmable gain amplifier (PGA) for a new family of DOCSIS 3.0 customer premises equipment (CPE) designed to deliver data rates up to 1.6 Gbps.

Hitron is demonstrating its 32-channel DOCSIS 3.0 products at CES in Las Vegas.
