Suddenlink Adds Smart Home

Suddenlink has launched Connected Home, a smart home automation service that offers 24/7 professional monitoring and remote control of various home functions.

The new service adds to the company's existing home security the ability to remotely arm and disarm the security system; control lights, thermostats and door locks; receive text and email notifications; and remotely view streaming video and pictures inside and outside of the home.

A Connected Home app is available to let customers control their homes remotely from a desktop, smart phone or other connected device.
