At IBC in Amsterdam, ThinkAnalytics will unveil MyThinkTV, a concept UI. MyThinkTV is intended to help service providers to plan for future, recommendations-optimized UIs by letting them simulate use cases using their own metadata such as similar/related content, moods and personalization.

The concept UI is designed to showcase a range of display options that capitalize on ThinkAnalytics' Recommendations Engine. It supports all ThinkAnalytics' personalized recommendations techniques and can be used to browse linear and VOD content and can be used to "test drive" different navigation and recommendations experiences.

The concept UI is designed to work on web/PC, iPad and Android tablets and to support relevance and personalized search, multiple languages, multiple time zones and multiple types of user.

In other ThinkAnalytics news, the company announced a global reseller agreement with Thuuz, a provider of a mobile and connected TV service intended to help sports fans discover and connect to sports programming. The joint solution is designed to enable multi-platform service providers and content owners to offer a customized sports service.
