The Television Academy has awarded Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) an Emmy for the X1 Entertainment Operating System. The award is for "Outstanding Achievement in Interactive Media Program: User Experience and Visual Design for XFINITY TV On The X1 Platform." The Academy announced the award at the Interactive Media Peer Group's nominee reception. The award will be presented at the 2014 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Aug. 16.
