In Florida, Bright House Networks has launched Echo, a wireless gateway/home networking solution designed to eliminate WiFi dead zones and provide more consistent Internet bandwidth for gaming, streaming and multiple devices on customers' wired networks. It's also designed to provide a stronger WiFi signal away from the main modem.

The new service consists of an Advanced Wireless Gateway 2.0 Echo Modem that delivers increased range and signal, as well as WiFi/Ethernet access points anywhere there is a cable outlet for connecting devices such as smart TVs, video game systems or desktop computers directly to the Internet.
