According to Parks Associates, 65% of broadband households in California have at least one connected consumer electronics device, such as a smart TV, streaming media player, or Google Chromecast. The research house says 50% of California broadband households regularly use a computer to watch movies and TV programs, while 23% use a tablet and 18% use a smartphone to watch video content, all slightly higher than the national average.
