The Digital Living Network Alliance has released its CVP-2 Guidelines and announced that DLNA Members can begin certifying products to the specifications in September. The guidelines are intended to facilitate service provider multiscreen content across devices such as TVs, game consoles, tablets, phones, PCs and set-top boxes.

The CVP-2 Guidelines, developed in collaboration with service providers and the consumer electronics industry, are an extension of the standard DLNA Guidelines and are intended to enable client devices certified to the CVP-2 Guidelines to interoperate and share media with existing DLNA Certified servers.
