Verimatrix, Zappware Baked into Albis IP Set-Top

At the CSTB 2014 show in Moscow, Albis Technologies will team up with Zappware and Verimatrix to demonstrate the SceneGate Micro II set-top box (STB). It integrates Verimatrix's Video Content Authority System (VCAS) security platform, Zappware's Nexx user interface package, and Albis Technologies' HD IPTV SceneGate Micro II STB.

The combined solution is designed to securely handle linear TV, VOD, OTT, and PVR services with HD resolution up to 1080p via an HDMI 1.4a interface. It's also 3DTV-ready. The OTT solution will be demonstrated on STBs, second-screen devices, and smart TVs.
