Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) has launched its IntelligentHome service in New York City. The service is now available to 95% of the company's customers nationwide. TWC launched IH in 2011, but the company has been in the home security business since 1981.In other TWC news, the MSO has introduced a low-cost web tier, dubbed "Everyday Low Price Internet," for light Internet users. The new tier offers download speeds up to 2 Mbps and upload speeds for 1 Mbps for $14.99 a month.
